Delete your HybridE account

HybridE is published by Hybrid E Enterprise Solutions. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it.

How to request deletion

1. Open the HybridE app and sign in.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

This immediately signs you out and blocks further logins to that account. Our team then completes the erasure, typically within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

• Your email address, password, name and contact number
• Your device login binding
• Any location data collected at login
• Your reading position, highlights and notes, reading activity and exam-prep answers
• Your digital Workplace Logbook, including the photos and files attached to it

What we keep

Purchase/transaction records (amount, date, which book — no longer linked to your email or any other identifying information) are retained for accounting and tax record-keeping purposes, as required under South African law. Purchased PDFs remain inaccessible once your account is deleted, since login is blocked immediately.
