HybridE Privacy Policy

HybridE is a textbook sales and reading app. This page explains what information we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a hashed password, used to sign you in.
• Purchase history: which textbooks you've bought, so we can grant you access to them.
• Device identifier: a per-installation id used only to enforce single-device login (signing in on a new device signs you out of the old one).
• Location: with your permission, your device's GPS location is captured once each time you log in, so we can see the general regions our readers are in. You can decline the location permission prompt and continue using the app normally; declining only skips this data point.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your personal information with third parties. Purchased PDFs are streamed page-by-page for reading in the app and are not shared with anyone else.
